This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you are leaving Madrid the next day. It was very comfortable, very reasonably priced, and the staff were all very friendly. They have a shuttle to the airport which was very convenient. The food in the lounge/snack bar was delicious.
close to the airport and reasonable in cost
close to the airport with a free 24 hr shuttle makes it very convenient. there is a good dinner buffet, a bit expensive meal (19 euros) but good food. it was great to come here the night before my flight and avoid paying 30 euros cab from centro madrid, or dealing with the long subway trip prior to my flight
We arrived after midnight and found the hotel friendly and clean. The rooms were verrty well equipped and breakfast well presented.
Clean and comfortable, good hotel near the airport.
The return shuttle bus to the airport was a disaster. No organisation on the part of the hotel and so many passengers waiting for the buses, we gave up and took a taxi. Not an ideal start to a 12 hour flight! The Clement Barajas, where we normally stay in this area, books you on to the shuttle bus at your required time and therefore there is no struggle to get on board.
It is a value for money hotel, convinently located close to the airport for those who have connecting flights and want to spent a night in Madrid. It was very clean and gad all the necessary accomodations for a short but comfort stay.
Our stay was due to a missed flight connection and the airline put us up in the Tryp Alameda Aeropuerto. We arrived close to 1 in the morning and were served a buffet late dinner. The staff was most agreeable. For our second stay we requested a reservation and once again were very comfortable in the room which we were assigned. Although the rooms are not large, we had a very comfortable bed, safe and to our surprise, a balcony. The bathroom was a nice size with all the necessary amenities. I would recommend the hotel to all travelers. The shuttle ride is around 10 to 15 minutes or so to the airport. The food in the restaurant is fairly good and the breakfast is complete. I for one must thank the staff once more for their service.
Location convenient to the airport, 24 hour shuttle, beautiful bathroom, room is very nice, comfortable beds, free breakfast. Can't beat the price.
The cafeteria witch would not give me extra hot water after I paid 6 euros for 2 cups of tea. I guess they will soon start charging for air - breath in: 1 euro, breath out - 2 euros.
Very close to airport and the metro. We visited downtown Madrid easily using the Metro.
The shuttle was a little disorganized and could easily been rectified by giving people numbers when they came down for the shuttle. Some people were waiting for an hour and a couple of people just shoved ahead and these people were left to wait for another shuttle. Very unfair.
Needed a 4 am wake up..not only phone rang but one of your staff came up to the room to knock on our door to make sure we got up. amazing and highly appreciated
It seemed to take forever to check in 6 parties ,around 9 pm, finally a second clerk showed up and it went better....your reception system may need updating!!!
The Suite was excellent, well furnished and comfortable. Hotel staff were knowledgable, helpful and spoke excellent English. The courtesy minibus to the airport was convenient.
We did not have time to have breakfast and yet the charge was added to our bill on checking out, which took a long time to sort out.The jacuzzi bath had dirt in the water jets which when started, suirted into the bath. Not pleasant. It meant we had to empty the water out of the bath and re-fill it. This was obviously resulting from inadequate cleaning.
Very well-kept facility, excellent staff that were helpful at every turn. Very convenient to airport for traveling fliers. Excellent dining facilities. Excellent ground transportation services.
The hotel has been refurbished. It is very comfortable. A very nice option for a one day stay in Madrid, close to the airport. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport every 10 to 15 minutes. Very convenient. The metro station to Madrid is a five minute walk. Guests can use the pool from the next door hotel. Buffet breakfast is good and reasonably priced or included with the room price.
It was very close to the airport (Madrid Barajas) and the prompt response of the courtesy van was appreciated. The room was outstanding--huge size and easily accommodated our family of 5.
The man at reception the night we arrived was not friendly--perhaps he was just having a bad day. The next day's staff that checked us out of the hotel was both friendly and professional.
